  • SPARTA-Qs

Saint Mark's SPARTA-Qs are small-group, family-oriented, evening BBQs hosted under our new state-of-the-art pavilion and outdoor classroom. Our SPARTA-Qs are designed for prospective eighth grade families to have an opportunity to visit campus, meet our administration, faculty, staff, and Spartan Ambassadors. Enjoy delicious food, learn about the Vision and Mission of Saint Mark's, and tour the new learning spaces recently added to campus! Register for a SPARTA-Q by checking the box next to the date that works best for your family.

  • High School Placement Test (HSPT) and Prep Courses

The Saint Mark's High school Placement Test (HSPT) is a required part of our admissions process for eighth grade students. The HSPT takes place on Saturday, November 16 from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., and Sunday, November 17 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Students are only required to sit for the exam on one of these days, not both. Taking the test at Saint Mark's guarantees the consideration for academic scholarships, depending on performance. Please ensure you register for the HSPT at this link.

In efforts to prepare eighth grade students for the HSPT, we host two HSPT Prep Course sessions prior to the exam on Saturday, September 14 and Saturday, September 28 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Saint Mark's. Although our September 14 course has passed, families are still able to register their students for the second course on Saturday, September 28 even if they did not attend the first session. Please note that the fee for the HSPT Prep Course sessions is $60 per student per session. Checks, cash, or Venmo will be collected at the time of check-in on the day of the Prep Course.

  • 2024 Fall Open House

Prospective middle school students and transfer students are invited to join us at our 2024 Fall Open House on Sunday, October 6 from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. This is an exciting opportunity to take an interactive, student-guided tour of our new learning spaces, speak to our knowledgeable faculty and staff, learn about our new academic curriculum and extracurricular activities, and engage with current students who are eager to share about their experiences as Spartans. You will leave knowing about all that we do to achieve our mission: to inspire young men and women to make the world a better place, one more pleasing to God and more helpful to others.

Part of our Open House is a raffle for one lucky eighth grade student who can a $1,000 grant toward tuition! The student must be present during the 1:30 p.m. information session in the auditorium. Sign up your family by selecting the button below!

  • Spartan for a Day Program

Prospective students in the eighth grade, as well as potential transfer students, are invited to participate in the Spartan for a Day (SFAD) program. Your student will be paired with a student host for nearly one full school day! Your student will receive a tour of the school, enjoy a complimentary lunch in our cafeteria, and attend classes with their host, all while experiencing the limitless opportunities that Saint Mark's High School has to offer. Students will also have the chance to meet one-on-one with one of our Admissions Office staff members to tell us about themselves and ask any questions they may have about our admissions process.

This program is offered most Tuesdays through Fridays from September through April on the below dates from 7:45 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. Please select a date that works best for your student below. We understand that prospective families often know a current Spartan that could host their student. You are welcome to enter the current student's name in the box below as your host request. Please note that we do prefer our SFAD guests to have a freshman or sophomore student host them. We do our best to honor host requests; however, there are circumstances where a host may not be available due to scheduling conflicts, academic commitments, etc. If you do not know a current student, please enter any general requests for what type of student host you would like (i.e., involved in student council, takes AP courses, on the softball team, part of the theatre program, etc.).

Please also indicate below if your student is interested in meeting for 5-10 minutes with one of our Admissions Office staff members during their visit. While this is not required, this is a great opportunity for us to get to know your student and answer their questions!

Once you are registered, we will send out a reminder email 1 week prior to your scheduled date.

Please note that this program is only available for 8th grade and transfer students.
